NCAA Top 25 with Canadian connections for Dec 23

The new AP Top was released today and the Canadians are movin’ on up.

Of the seven teams that feature Canadian players, six of them moved up in the rankings with only Dayton dropping from No.13 to No.18 after an overtime loss to Colorado 78-76.

The highest ranked Canadian players inside the Top 25 for the third week in a row are Addison Patterson from Milton, ON and his teammate Eugene Omoruyi from Rexdale, ON who both play for the No.6 ranked Oregon Ducks who moved up two spots this week. Devonte Bandoo from Mississauga and his Baylor Bears also continue their rise in the top 10 moving up three spots to No.7.

The good news is, no Canadian players dropped out of the top 25 this week.

Other Canadians inside this week’s Top 25 include: No. 12 Butler – Christian David Milton, ON. No.15 San Diego State – Nolan Narain Hamilton, ON. No.17 Florida St –Nathaniel Jack Mississauga, ON. No.18 Dayton – Jordy Tshimanga Montreal, QC. No.22 West Virginia – Jermaine Haley Vancouver, BC and Gabe Osabuohien Toronto, ON.
