The Canadian contingent of NCAA players continue to rise up the Top 25 closer to the No.1 spot.
Oregon has now won five games in a row and sit at No.4 in the AP poll up two spots from last week which ties the highest ranking in school history. Addison Patterson from Milton, ON is now averaging 5.4 points per game for the Ducks and slowly earning more minutes while his teammate Eugene Omoruyi from Rexdale, ON has to sit and watch from the bench after transferring from Rutgers last year.
Devonte Bandoo from Mississauga and his Baylor Bears also continue their rise in the top 10 once again this week moving up to No.6. The Bears have won nine games in a row after their win today over Jackson State 83-57.
Christian David from Milton, ON and his Butler squad inch closer to the top 10 moving up one spot this week to No.11 after three wins in a row.
West Virginia and their two Canadians Jermaine Haley from Vancouver, BC and Gabe Osabuohien of Toronto had the biggest jump this week after beating the No.2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 67-59 and they’re now ranked No.16.
