BioSteel All-Canadian Skills comp and Futures Game March 28


The BioSteel All-Canadian annual skills competition and Future’s game will take place on Saturday March 28 at the Athlete Institute in Mono, ON.

The Future’s Game features some of the best Canadian players under the age of 16 and will tip-off at 6pm ET. Last years game featured the likes of Elijah Fisher (Crestwood) and Enoch Boakye (George Harris Prep) who will both participate in the main BioSteel All-Canadian game on Sunday March 29.

The three-point competition sponsored by Sports Chek will follow at 7:30pm ET and feature a mix of the best male and female long range shooters from across Canada. The 2019 winner was Miguel Tomley who went on to commit to play for Santa Clara University which is the same school Steve Nash attended.

The slam dunk contest will begin at 8pm ET and feature some of the most gifted athletes in all of Canada. The 2019 dunk contest winner was Jahcobi Neath who just wrapped up an impressive freshman season at Wake Forest with the 2018 contest going to Daniel Sackey who just wrapped up his sophomore year at Valparaiso.

The dunk competition will have celebrity guests as the judges. In recent years, Kia Nurse has been a judge as well as former Los Angeles Laker Tyler Ennis who is currently with Raptors 905.

The skills competition will be broadcast live on the BioSteel All-Canadian YouTube channel with Chris McKee doing the play-by-play along with a host of guests.
