Orangeville Prep is the No.1 high school basketball program in Canada and will be hosting a showcase of their players online Thursday September 17.
Over the past few years, Orangeville Prep/Athlete Institute has hosted some of the most iconic coaches in college basketball in their gym so they can get a first hand look at some of the best players in Canada.
John Calipari from Kentucky, Jim Boeheim from Syracuse, Patrick Ewing from Georgetown and dozens more have all headed north of the border to Canada to recruit players from the Orangeville Prep and Athlete Institute program.
However, with the United States/Canada border closed for non-essential travel and with mandatory quarantines that can last up to 14 days, travelling between the two countries will make recruiting more challenging.
Orangeville Prep has created a showcase to give college and university coaches across North American their first look at the 2020-21 roster.
The showcase will be streamed online Thursday September 17 at 11am to 1pm ET.

The showcase will feature play-by-play commentary by Chris McKee (CBC Sports and TSN) along with colour commentary by Wes Brown who runs the Monday Morning Scouting Report which is Canada’s No.1 basketball scouting service.
Orangeville Prep and Athlete Institute have produced dozens of players to the top schools across the NCAA and USports as well as current NBA players Jamal Murray (Denver), Thon Maker (Detroit), Ignas Brazdeikis (New York), Luguentz Dort (Oklahoma City), Oshae Brissett (Toronto), Kyle Alexander (Miami) and Matur Maker (Houston).
