The Gonzaga Bulldogs cleaned up at the West Coast Conference postseason awards for the 2020-21 season.
When you’re 24-0 and have been the No.1 team in the AP Top 25 all season long it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Gonzaga Bulldogs cleaned up at the WCC postseason awards.
2020-21 All-WCC Men’s Basketball awards:
Player of the Year: Corey Kispert -Gonzaga
Coach of the Year: Mark Few – Gonzaga
Defensive Player of the Year: Matt Haarms – BYU
Newcomer of the Year: Jalen Suggs – Gonzaga
Sixth Man of the Year: Andrew Nembhard – Gonzaga
Kispert averaged 19.5 points per game along with shooting an impressive 46.3 percent from three-point range. Any of Gonzaga’s Drew Timme, Jalen Suggs or Kispert were all worthy of taking home the POY award.
