The Montreal native will make his first official next week to Washington State.
6’11 C/F Jeremy Foumena from Orangeville Prep will make his first official visit next week to Washington State University.
The Cougars are led by third year head coach Kyle Smith who opened the season with an 85-67 win over Alcorn State on Tuesday.
Washington State was 14-13 in the 2020-21 season but received a major boost with the signing of Mouhamed Gueye a 6’11 forward from Dakar, Senegal who played at Prolific Prep.
Gueye could be a one and done NBA guy so Foumena would be a nice heir apparent for the Cougars in 2022-23.
Foumena is averaging 18 points per game along with 10 rebounds for Orangeville Prep which is the No.1 high school program in Canada.
Foumena and his Orangeville squad start their Grind Session schedule in Arizona this weekend before heading over to Columbia, SC for the Bojangles Bash Dec 9 to 11.
Expect Foumena to receive more NCAA interest following Orangeville’s swing through the United States.
