UC Riverside’s JP Moorman II hit a game winning 3-pointer from inside his own half to beat the Sun Devils.

UC Riverside was trailing Arizona State 65-63 with 1.7 seconds remaining when JP Moorman II received an inbound pass and heaved the ball about 70 feet towards the rim.

And then this happened.

Moorman II is a 6’7 senior forward from Greensboro, NC who spent the previous four seasons at Temple University playing in 105 games. He averaged 7.3 points per game last year for the Owls.

The improbable winner helped beat Arizona State 66-65.
