6-foot-10 forward Leonard Miller from Fort Erie International Academy interview and highlights.

Scarborough, ON native Leonard Miller is one of the most sought after high school players in all of North America.

Miller was recently named MVP of the OSBA which puts him in some rare company with past winners including Ignas Brazdeikis (NBA-Orlando), Kobe Elvis (Dayton), Jefferson Koulibaly (Washington State) and Thon Maker (NBA).

Miller is a Class of 2022 and is currently fielding offers from the likes of Maryland, Pitt, Alabama, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, LSU and dozens more.

The best player comparison for Miller would be Darius Miles who was the No.3 pick in the 2000 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers and would also go on to play for Cleveland, Portland and Memphis.

Miller is very long and wiry with an identical physical stature to Miles. He plays with a highly aggressive motor, both offensively and defensively. He’s exceptionally quick and plays with a certain smoothness and style. He can score at will highlighted by a 59 point performance this season back on Oct 30, 2021.

Miller is a (very) high major talent you can expect to see make an immediate impact for any number of Big 10, Big 12, SEC, ACC or Pac-12 programs.

Fort Erie head coach Charles Hantoumakos explained, “He’s such a coachable kid and the one thing I constantly say is that not once in any practice or game has he ever talked back or said anything other than ‘yes’ coach.” He continued, “He’s obviously super talented but the most impressive thing throughout his ascension is his ability to consistently improve and add different facets to his game.”

Miller has all the physical tools to become an NBA player as long as he continues to develop his three-point shooting range and perhaps bulk up a little in college over the next year two.

Expect Miller to also be in consideration to be a member of the Canadian Men’s Senior National team in the near future.
